FullShot — Privacy Policy

In short: FullShot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Every screenshot is created and stored entirely on your own device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no servers.

What FullShot does

FullShot is a Chrome extension that captures full-page, visible-area, and selected-region screenshots of web pages you choose, and lets you save them as PNG, JPG, or PDF or copy them to your clipboard. All image capture and processing happens locally inside your browser.

Data we collect

None. FullShot does not collect or transmit any personal information, browsing history, page content, or usage analytics. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party — we do not operate any server that receives your data.

Data stored on your device

The following stay only in your browser's local storage on your computer, and never leave it:

Your captures — saved in the browser's local database (IndexedDB) so you can re-download them from the result page. You can delete them at any time.
Your settings — such as default export format and filename template, stored via Chrome's local storage.

Permissions and why they're used

Permission	Why FullShot needs it
`activeTab`	To capture the current tab — only when you explicitly click the FullShot icon or press its shortcut. FullShot does not read your pages in the background.
`scripting`	To run the capture/stitching logic on the page you chose to capture, at the moment you trigger it.
`storage`	To remember your preferences locally.
`unlimitedStorage`	To hold large full-page images in your local capture history without hitting the default storage cap.
`downloads`	To save the screenshot file to your computer when you choose to download it.

FullShot requests no host permissions (it cannot access "all your data on all websites"); it can only act on a tab when you invoke it.

Third parties

FullShot uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and shares no data with anyone.

Children's privacy

FullShot collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
